Game Drives
Buffelsfontein offers you the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature on our game drives.The game drives are daily at 09h00 & 14h00. Our rangers will take you on a memorable trip and show you more about nature and its secrets.
Rates:
Times: 09:00 and 14:00
Duration: 2 - 3 Hours
- Adults: R400 per person
- Children (4 - 12 years): R200 per child
- Children (0 - 4 years): FREE
- Groups: R4000 per vehicle
- Pensioner Groups and School Groups: Special Rate
Game you can expect to see on a drive:
Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Kudu, Eland, Oryx (Gemsbok), Bontebok, Springbok, Duiker, Steenbok and Caracal.
Game seen less often on a drive:
African Wildcat, Bat-eared fox, Cape fox, Genet, Grey buck, Mountain Reedbuck, Porcupine, Aardvark, Aardwolf and Honey Badger
Day Trips
Buffelsfontein offers Day Trip Safaris that can be the perfect day excursion. It is less than an hour's drive from Cape Town and we have so much to offer!
The day trip will depart from pre-arranged locations around the City Bowl area, Waterfront and Atlantic seaboard areas. The Day Trip Safari includes the transportation to and from Buffelsfontein, breakfast on arrival, game drive with refreshments and lunch (A la Carte or buffet).
